Testing Pointers
- Test on the water: Real-world GPS and compass behaviour is what we need most feedback on
- Try different courses: Pick various wind directions and course configurations
- Switch between features: Navigation, race timer, course cards — try the full flow
- Light and dark mode: Check both for readability issues
How to Report Issues
In-App Feedback (Preferred)
- Open Settings in the app
- Tap the feedback button (speech bubble icon)
- Describe the issue — the app automatically attaches device info and logs
- Tap Send
Email support@digimill.ie with details. Include screenshots if possible.
Voice Message
In Settings, tap "Leave a Voice Message" to record a quick voice note about what you found. Great for when you're on the water and can't type.
What Makes a Good Report
- What you were doing — e.g. "navigating mark 3 on DBSC Course W"
- What you expected — e.g. "bearing should update when I pass the mark"
- What actually happened — e.g. "bearing stayed stuck on 247 degrees"
- Screenshots or screen recordings — a picture is worth a thousand words
- Device and conditions — phone model, iOS/Android version, weather
